ReplenishRadar in Claude and ChatGPT

Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your Shopify and Amazon stock, stockout risk, forecasts and purchase orders. You sign in with your ReplenishRadar account. There is no API key to create or paste.

What it is

A connector lets an AI assistant read your ReplenishRadar data and, if you allow it, act on it. You add ReplenishRadar to Claude or ChatGPT once. After that you ask in plain language: which products are about to run out, what you have on hand at each location, what is on order from a supplier, or what demand to expect next month. The assistant calls ReplenishRadar to get the answer from your live data.

It connects one ReplenishRadar organization at a time. Only an admin or owner of the organization can connect it.

Add it to Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose to add a custom connector.
  2. Name it ReplenishRadar and paste this address: https://api.replenishradar.com/api/mcp/oauth. Leave any advanced client ID or secret fields empty.
  3. Claude opens the ReplenishRadar sign-in page. Sign in with your ReplenishRadar email and password or with Google, or create an account there.
  4. Choose the organization, set the permissions described below, and press Approve.
  5. Back in Claude, start a chat and turn the ReplenishRadar connector on for it.

Adding a custom connector is limited to some Claude plans, and on a Team or Enterprise organization it is done by the organization owner. Claude’s own help pages list the current menu names.

Add it to ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, open the settings for apps and connectors and choose to add a custom MCP server. Developer mode may need to be switched on first.
  2. Name it ReplenishRadar and paste the same address: https://api.replenishradar.com/api/mcp/oauth. Choose OAuth as the sign-in method and leave any client ID or secret empty.
  3. ChatGPT opens the ReplenishRadar sign-in page. Sign in, choose the organization, set the permissions and press Approve.
  4. Start a chat and turn ReplenishRadar on for it.

What ChatGPT lets a custom connector do depends on your ChatGPT plan and, for a workspace, on its admin settings. Some ChatGPT plans can read through a custom connector but not make changes. Where the ChatGPT directory lists ReplenishRadar, you can add it from there instead.

What each permission means

The sign-in page shows what the assistant will be allowed to do. You choose, and you can change your mind later by connecting again.

  • Always included: read. The assistant can read the organization’s inventory, stockout risk, forecasts, alerts, suppliers and purchase orders. Reading never changes anything.
  • Make changes (off until you tick it). The assistant can add notes, create and edit purchase orders, change stock counts and send purchase orders to suppliers, acting as you. Each change is recorded in your account. Whether Claude or ChatGPT asks you before running an action is up to that assistant. What the plan includes (see below) limits which of these actions work. If it needs this later and you left it off, the sign-in page opens again so you can allow it.
  • Include costs and revenue (off until you tick it). The assistant can see unit costs, prices, margins and revenue. Left off, those figures are hidden from it.

The sign-in page also says where your data goes. Store data from every channel connected to the organization, Amazon and Shopify included, is sent to the assistant’s company when you approve. That company handles it under its own terms and the data controls in your Claude or ChatGPT settings. ReplenishRadar’s own handling is in the privacy policy.

Which plans include it

The connector is part of these plans:

  • Lite: the assistant can view what the Lite plan shows in the app: the inventory board, stockout risk and sync freshness. It cannot make changes or see costs and revenue, and the organization has a daily limit on assistant requests.
  • Free: the assistant can view what the Free plan shows in the app: the inventory board, stockout risk, the basic forecast and sync freshness. It cannot make changes or see costs and revenue, and the organization has a daily limit on assistant requests.
  • Standard: reads, and basic changes such as adding notes. Creating and sending purchase orders and changing stock counts are not included.
  • Growth, Scale and Enterprise: the full set of read and change actions, including purchase orders, diagnosis and costs and revenue.

If an organization’s plan does not include the connector, the sign-in page says so.

Disconnect

In ReplenishRadar, open Settings, then Connected apps, and choose Disconnect next to the assistant. Access ends within a minute. You can also remove the connector from inside Claude or ChatGPT. Connecting the same organization again from the same assistant replaces the earlier connection.
