Ask ReplenishRadar is a natural language query interface built into the app. You type a question in plain English. The AI reads your live inventory through MCP tools (the same structured tools that external agents use), runs the query, and returns a specific answer grounded in your real data.

This is not a chatbot. There is no training data. There is no hallucinated advice. Every answer comes from your actual inventory, your actual sales velocity, your actual supplier lead times.

How It Works

When you submit a question, the AI enters a tool-use loop:

1. It parses your question and decides which MCP tools to call
2. It queries your live inventory data (positions, forecasts, alerts, suppliers, PO history)
3. It assembles the results into a clear, specific answer
4. The response streams back via SSE so you see it building in real time

The AI has access to the same MCP tools that power the external agent integration. It can check stockout risk, pull demand forecasts, list alerts, look up supplier details, and surface inventory positions across every channel.

Smart Redirects

Not every question needs an AI-generated answer. If you ask "show me dead stock" or "go to purchase orders," the system recognizes a navigation intent and takes you straight to the right page. No waiting for an AI response when a link is faster.

Contextual Prompts

Risk badges throughout the app include an "Ask AI" action. See a SKU flagged as high risk? Click "Ask AI" and the query pre-fills with "Why is SKU-X at risk?" You get the full breakdown: current stock, daily velocity, days of supply, open POs, and what is driving the flag.

Write Actions (Scale+)

On Scale and Enterprise tiers, you can go beyond read queries. Ask "Draft a PO for items below reorder point" and the AI will identify qualifying SKUs, group them by supplier, and prepare a draft purchase order. Every write action requires explicit confirmation before anything changes. You review the details, confirm, and then it executes. Two steps, always.

Weekly Limits by Tier

Limits reset weekly. Each query (one question and its full tool-use response) counts as one against your allocation.
